Ministry update.

BCM North India Ministry Update

God gave me an amazing opportunity to minister in three states – Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. BCM ministries in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are headed by Rev. Ful Chand Matho, assisted by thirteen Pastors ministering in different regions of the two states. On 28th and 29th of March, 2013, we had a wonderful meeting at AMDA, BCM Church. 150 people came for the meeting. 34 people partook in the water baptism. We then had the Holy Communion followed by the Worship Service.

In the afternoon we had a Pastors meeting and a one to one discussion. I encouraged them to stay focused in the ministry and use our God given potential for stabilizing the ministry. On both the days I was there, we had a convention which was a blessing to the local masses.

Rev. Ful Chand Matho has started a home for the destitute children. At present, there are five children at the destitute home at BCM Amda church.

Bore Well Dedication

BCM India has provided a bore well for the AMDA BCM ministry centre. We prayed and dedicated the bore well for the glory God. It is indeed a source of blessing to the believers and the neighbors there.

Church Dedication in the state of Chhattisgarh

This is the second church building we have inaugurated in this state. Pastor Samuel Lakra is ministering at Vijay Nagar, in Chhattisgarh.  31st, March 2013, that is, on Easter Sunday morning we had a baptism service and eight people took the water baptism . What a revival !!! After that we had  the church inauguration ceremony. More than hundred and fifty people came for the opening service and participated in the worship service and in the Holy Communion.  This was followed by a training program for the youth, encouraging them to help their Pastor in evangelism and to help the church grow and to be saved by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Twelve youth members participated in the program. We also prayed and laid the foundation for another church in Chhattisgarh. What a fruitful witness of the ministry !!! Let us prayerfully join Pastor Kuldeep Lakra in his ardent zeal to construct the church before December 2013.

West Bengal

Four of our BCM Pastors work in West Bengal. I had a fruitful time during my visit here. We had prayer meetings and Bible study sessions at Nagarkata.  We considered it an opportune time to discuss the West Bengal ministry opportunities and also kept myself posted about their ministry updates. During our sessions, I encouraged them to come forth with a newness of spirit to bear more fruit for His kingdom, and to do so, depend more in God’s direction and faithfulness!!!

I visited each Pastor’s ministry area and met with the believers. We conducted prayer meetings every evening. Thirty two people are preparing for water baptism in these areas. Praise His Holy name…we can see God’s work being accomplished in and through our BCM Pastors in the region of West Bengal…!!!.

With the support of BCM, Pastor Joel Nayak was able to build a church building in his ministry area. However, the foundation and roof is completed but half of the construction is still awaiting completion. Undeterred in spirit, he began the worship service in the half completed hall. More than fifty people gather for worship and Bible Study here every Sunday. Please pray that the financial need to complete the construction work, will soon be met. All glory to God for His faithfulness in completing a task which the Lord has begun.

Please pray for:

  • the North India ministry
  • church construction at Jharkhand and West Bengal
  • new supporters
  • forth coming training programs
  • all BCM Pastors and their families
  • all financial needs

Praise God for:

  • the believers who took water baptism
  • the three training programs that were conducted
  • the new Church inauguration at Vijay Nagar
  • the laying of the foundation stone for the church construction at Chhattisgarh
  • all His guidance and faithfulness
